Dr Joanne Lee

Principal Dentist

Joanne has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney.

Joanne says ongoing education is a priority:

Dentistry is continually changing. New treatments, updates, better ways of doing things. For me it’s so important to have the confidence that I’m giving patients the most up to date treatment options available. Even when a visit is routine, it’s nice for everyone to know that what we’re doing is best practice, this year, right now.

Joanne loves being a mum to her two grown up boys and chocolate Labrador, Henry. Joanne is a keen snow skier and loves to travel.

Dr Lindsay Mahlo

Associate Dentist

Lindsay grew up in Orange and completed his Bachelor of Dental Science degree at Charles Sturt University, Orange. He is now happy to be back at CSU one day a week, as a clinical tutor for the current cohort of dentistry students.

Lindsay enjoys and is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry. Lindsay has a particular interest in root canal therapy and has undertaken further education, enabling him to treat most of the difficult endodontic cases encountered at Sale Street Dental .

For me, dentistry is as much about forming a trusting relationship with my patients as it is about science. The most rewarding part of the job  is to meet a new patient who may be a little nervous and seeing that by the end of the appointment, their outlook has totally changed. This is so important, especially for kids. My goal is to provide a broad range of high quality dental care in a safe and ethical manner.

In his spare time, Lindsay is a keen squash player, snow skier and loves to race go-karts. He has also recently completed his pilot’s licence.

Dr Matthew McGreal

Associate Dentist

Recipient of the NSW Regional Dentistry Scholarship, Matthew graduated from CSU with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He received an Executive Dean’s Award for academic excellence along with the Dr Kinross prize for proficiency in dental ethics and professional responsibility. 

Matthew is a kind, caring and considerate dentist who understands the importance of dentistry on a person’s general health, wellbeing, and self-confidence. He also understands a visit to the dentist is not always the highlight of someone’s day. Whether it’s a planned appointment or an emergency, Matthew strives to provide a professional, pain free and comfortable experience. 

Outside of Dentistry, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family horse riding, motorbike riding, waterskiing and generally being outdoors.

Matthew  is a member of the Australian Dental Association.

Dr Clifford Nguyen

Dentist

Cliff has recently moved to Orange from country Victoria and studied at La Trobe University in Bendigo. He enjoys restorative dentistry and minor oral surgery. Be sure to say hi if you catch him in the surgery with his nose in a book or vibing away with a long black. He appreciates chatting to friendly faces and hearing their stories.

Outside of work he enjoys running with the local club, cycling and the occasional game of chess.

Leanne Childs

Dental Hygienist

Leanne grew up on the Central Coast, where she worked as a dental assistant for many years but always knew she wanted to do more to help patients achieve healthy, happy smiles. She moved to Adelaide to complete her Advanced Diploma of Oral Health and began her career as Dental Hygienist. She strives to empower her patients with the knowledge to gain the best outcome for their individual oral health.

Leanne moved to Orange in 2019 and has finally found a place to call home.

Hakan Zorba

Oral Health Therapist

Hakan has had many years’ experience in the dental field. In his role as an Oral Health Therapist, Hakan has an amazing rapport with little ones and seems to place any required fillings with very little drama.

Kelly Rathjen

Oral Health Therapist

Kelly joined the team at Sale Street Dental in August 2024. She graduated as an Oral Health Therapist from The University of Adelaide in 2018 and has completed further training to expand her qualifications at Sydney University in 2021.

Kelly has experience providing dental care for both children and adults through public and private clinics. Having previously worked for the School Dental Service, she is passionate about creating a fun and educating dental experience for the whole family. Kelly has a bubbly personality and enjoys building trusting relationships with her patients. She is motivated to change the stigma around going to the dentist by delivering relaxed and comfortable dental care.

Outside of work Kelly enjoys outdoor activities such as rock climbing and cycling.

Zach Forostenko

Oral Health Therapist

Originally from Canberra, Zach completed the Bachelor of Oral Health & Therapy at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga and moved to Orange to further his study and work with Sale Street Dental.

Outside of the practice and study, Zach enjoys working out at the local crossfit gym or taking in the region’s amazing food and wine selections.

Rhonda Fardell

Receptionist and Office Manager

Rhonda has semi retired after running the front desk at Hill/Sale Street Dental for twenty years. She knows everything there is to know about the day to day running of the practice.

If you spot Rhonda on the golf course, she’s making the most of her time off.

Rhonda is married with two grown-up children and three gorgeous grandchildren — Lily, Pipa and Teddie.

Kelly Turner

Receptionist

Kelly comes to us with over 15 years experience in the health industry.

Outside of work, Kelly loves netball and you will catch her on the sidelines of her kid’s many sports.

Amy

Receptionist

Amy works with Kelly and Rhonda on the front desk. Amy and our professional, happy front desk team will welcome you to the practice and answer any queries you may have.

Amy is an award winning jam maker and has an infectious robust laugh.

Carmen

Dental Assistant

Carmen is an excellent dental assistant who is very hard working and professional. She ensures our surgeries run efficiently, mainly working with Dr Joanne Lee. Carmen also enjoys a few days a week working in the very busy sterilisation area.

In her leisure time Carmen enjoys gardening, hiking and being with her gorgeous dog “Honey”.

Tara

Dental Assistant

Tara is always smiling and happy. She works with Dr Matthew McGreal to make visits to his surgery comfortable, warm and efficient.

Outside of work Tara has two gorgeous children, is always on for a chat and she is also an amazing cake decorator.

Sarah

Dental Assistant

Sarah is a valued member of the Sale Street Dental team. Since joining the team Sarah has already qualified for for Cert III certificate in Dental Assisting.

Sarah assists Lindsay and Leanne to create an efficient, professional and happy environment.

Ashley

Dental Assistant

Ashley is an all round lovely member of the Sale Street Dental Team. You’ll find Ashley’s happy, smiling face in the surgery with Dr McGreal or Dr Cliff. Ashley has a interest in Cosmetic and Restorative dentistry and aims to make your visit with our practitioners a pleasant experience.

Outside of work Ashley, enjoys being outdoors exploring the beautiful walking trails in and around Orange.

Currently a dental student, Harleen is passionate about her role as a dental assistant at Sale Street Dental. She loves contributing to the team and providing top-notch care to patients. She is committed to making each patient feel comfortable and well-cared for.

In her free time, Harleen, enjoys diving into a good book, staying active by playing netball, and unwinding with her favourite Netflix shows.
